Water for Home. Water for Business. Water for Life.
Bayou Lafourche is the drinking water source for more than 300,000 residents of Lafourche, Terrebonne, Assumption, and Ascension Parishes. The Bayou also provides water for agriculture and industry throughout the region, as well as nutrient-rich freshwater to feed our coastal marshes.
The Bayou Lafourche Fresh Water District (BLFWD) is committed to preserving this valuable natural resource and keeping the water flowing.
