If you haven't seen the newly renovated Leighton Boat Launch in Thibodaux, take a minute to check it out! Thanks to everyone who came out for today's ribbon-cutting ceremony at the newly renovated Leighton Boat Launch in Thibodaux!
Ryan M. Perque, Executive Director for Friends of Bayou Lafourche, said “We are excited to have completed this project which makes the Leighton Boat Launch safer, easier to use, and more accessible. Since the completion of the renovations, it has been wonderful to see an increase in the number of people using the site to fish, safely launch boats, and enjoy the scenery. We greatly appreciate Lafourche Parish Government's shared interest in creating recreational enhancements along Bayou Lafourche and look forward to working with them on more projects in the future.”
